Women's Soccer Players of the Week - Week 1 (Aug. 28 - Sept. 3)
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The NJCAA Women’s Soccer Players of the Week were announced Thursday by the NJCAA National Office for all matches played during Week 1 and 2 of the season – Aug. 21 – Sept. 3.
Freshman forward Carly Higgins of Cape Fear (NC) fired in nine goals and an assist to tally DI Player of the Week. Northwest Mississippi’s Liv Nault garnered Division I Goalie of the Week, accumulating 20 saves on 21 shots on goal. Hailey Arlis scored 11 goals and nabbed five assists for Joliet (IL) to earn Division III Player of the Week. Eastfield (TX) freshman Gabriela Roa was named DIII Goalie of the Week, hauling in 24 saves on 27 shots on net.
