Herkimer, Genesee to host DIII men's championships
Herkimer will host in 2019 followed by 2020 in Genesee, NY
Colorado Springs, CO – Upcoming NJCAA DIII Men’s Soccer National Championship locations have been announced. Herkimer (NY) received the tournament bid for 2019 and 2021.
Herkimer has served as host of the tournament since 2009, and 12 of the last 13 years and will again host in the fall of 2018 at Wehrum Stadium. Genesee, the 2017 national champions, will host in 2020.
Generals’ Athletic Director Donald Dutcher praised his institution’s dedication to hosting the championship. “Herkimer is excited to be the host of the 2019 and 2021 Men’s Division III Soccer Nationals. We take great pride in bringing the ultimate experience for student-athletes as they compete for the ultimate goal of winning a national championship. The tournament has become a staple of our campus and community as we have been fortunate enough to host the tournament the last 12 of 13 years and look forward to continuing the tradition into the future.”
