NJCAA and Commerce Bank Announce Renewal
Charlotte, NC – The NJCAA has announced a partnership renewal with Commerce Bank as the Official Prepaid Expense Card of the association. Commerce Bank was named to Forbes' America's Best Banks 2022 list for the 13th consecutive year, earning a spot on the list each year since its inception in 2009.
"Commerce Bank is pleased to continue our relationship with the NJCAA and we commend the association and its leadership team for overcoming many serious challenges in recent years," stated Robyn Montoya, Commerce Bank VP Prepaid Card Partnerships. "We take pride in the fact that we've helped so many two-year college programs improve payment efficiencies and we look forward to working with more NJCAA members in the future."
Launched in late 2015, the CommercePayments Prepaid Expense Card program provides NJCAA athletic departments with a reloadable, Visa® prepaid card that offers complete spending control and an easier way for student athletes, coaches, and staff to access funds as needed. The card eliminates the use of cash, checks, and reimbursements, allows users to load and unload, while setting spending limits and schedule loads.
"NJCAA member colleges have complete spending control with the prepaid expense card," stated Dr. Christopher Parker, NJCAA President and CEO. "The flexibility and customizable card limits make travel expenses easy to manage when on the road and during the season."
The CommercePayments Prepaid Expense Card can be used by any size school, by individual student-athletes, and/or coaches and staff depending on each college's needs. With the partnership, NJCAA member colleges receive discounted pricing from Commerce Bank. For more information, visit: Prepaid Expense Card.
