CBS Sports to televise football national championship
The NJCAA has announced CBS Sports as the Official Television Partner of the national championship on Nov. 29
Charlotte, NC – The NJCAA has signed an agreement with CBS Sports to have the 2018 NJCAA eTeamSponsor Football National Championship game televised live on CBS Sports Network. This year's championship is set for 8:00 PM ET on Thursday, November 29 at Carnie Smith Stadium on the campus of Pittsburg State in Pittsburg, KS.
"As the association continues to expand its brand to a national audience, we are thrilled to announce CBS Sports Network as our Official Television Partner for the football championship game," stated NJCAA President & CEO Dr. Christopher Parker. "We believe our student-athletes perform competitively at the highest of levels, and with our partnership, their hard work and championship-driven goals will be on full display thanks to CBS Sports Network."
This agreement marks the first time an NJCAA national championship game has been nationally televised.

Along with the announcement of the partnership with CBS Sports, the NJCAA has announced eTeamSponsor as the Official Title Sponsor of the championship game. The 2018 NJCAA eTeamSponsor Football National Championship game is the first of a three-year agreement with Crawford County Convention & Visitors Bureau. Pittsburg previously played host to the championship in 2009 and 2010. The 2009 contest featured NFL MVP Cam Newton and the Blinn (TX) Buccaneers who topped Fort Scott (KS) 31-26 while Navarro (TX) outlasted Butler (KS) 13-12 in 2010 in a game that featured 12 future NFL players.
