NJCAA Network to air six basketball Selection Shows
Charlotte, NC - The 2022 NJCAA Men's and Women's Basketball Selection Shows are set to air live on the NJCAA Network to announce at-large selections and tournament seeding. Each show will feature bracket reveals, on-air analysis, highlights, exclusive interviews, and in-depth information about each tournament.
After a one-year hiatus due to COVID-19, the NJCAA Division III Men's and Women's Basketball Selection Shows will air on Wednesday, March 2 at 2:00 PM ET and 3:00 PM ET, respectively. The NJCAA Division I Men's and Women's Basketball Selection Shows will take place on Sunday, March 6 at 6:30 PM ET and 7:30 PM ET. The NJCAA Division II Men's and Women's Basketball Selection Shows are set for Tuesday, March 8. The men's show will air at 2:00 PM ET and the women's show will air at 3:00 PM ET.
This is just the second time in association history that the NJCAA Division III Men's and Women's Selection Shows have taken place and will feature at-large selections on the women's side for the first time. The Division II shows will be live-streamed for the third consecutive year with the Division I Men's and Women's Basketball Selection Shows hitting the five-year mark. Phillip Constantino, Director of Broadcasting at Gardner-Webb University, will return as host of the Division III and Division II live shows while Sam Hyman will debut on the NJCAA Network for the Division I shows.
The NJCAA Division I Men's and Women's tournaments feature 24 teams - 16 automatic district qualifiers and eight additional at-large selections which will be announced during the selection show. The NJCAA Division II Men's and Women's tournaments feature 16 automatic district qualifiers. The NJCAA Division III Men's and Women's Championships will feature 12 teams - eight automatic qualifiers and four at-large selections.

The NJCAA DI Men's Basketball Championship will be played March 14-19, 2022, at the historic Hutchinson Sports Arena in Hutchinson, KS. The 2022 tournament marks the 75th anniversary of the men's basketball tournament. The 2022 NJCAA DI Women's Basketball Championship will be held at the Rip Griffin Center in Lubbock, TX from March 16-21. The NJCAA DII Men's and Women's Basketball Championships will be played March 15-19, 2022, at the Mary Miller Center in Danville, IL, and at St. Clair County Community College in Port Huron, MI. The 2022 NJCAA DIII Men's and Women's Basketball Championships will tip-off on March 9, 2022, at Rock Valley College in Rockford, IL, and at the Rochester Regional Sports Center in Rochester, MN, with champions being crowned on March 12, 2022.
